Alpha Arts and Science College (AASC), established in 1996, is a premier institution run by the Alpha Educational Society, a non-profit organization registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu, the college holds permanent affiliation with the University of Madras. AASC follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) under the semester pattern, integrating value education, soft skills, and mandatory extension activities to provide a well-rounded academic experience. The undergraduate programs span three years, leading to degrees awarded by the University of Madras upon fulfilling academic requirements and passing university examinations.
